The most obvious attraction of the North Norfolk and East Suffolk Heritage Coasts is that these areas remain unspoilt, with enchanting countryside offering limitless opportunities for walking, cycling, bird watching and horse riding together with award-winning beaches. The unspoilt North Norfolk coast, with its creeks, natural harbours and maze of saltmarshes, is a haven for sailing, whilst the Rivers Deben, Orwell and Stour in Suffolk are home to waterside hamlets, boat-building yards, marinas and sailing schools. All this, combined with market towns and ease of access to the South and the Midlands, makes these areas one of the most sought-after and un-spoilt in the UK.
East Suffolk Heritage Coast
This is a delightful area ranging from a patchwork of gently rolling arable fields and small woodlands, to the coast, which is a very special landscape; a fragile mosaic of heaths, forest, wetlands and coast that collectively supports some of the rarest wildlife in Britain.

North Norfolk Coast
North Norfolk has one of the most beautiful coastlines in the UK, offering miles of secluded beaches and acres of unspoilt marshland and open countryside. The coast is classified as an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and offers a wide range of attractions to appeal to everyone. There are miles of sandy beaches that run from Old Hunstanton, through Brancaster, to Wells-next-the-Sea and beyond to Blakeney. Outdoor activities lie at the heart of the area’s appeal with a coastline that offers pursuits such as walking, golf and sailing. There are seals to see at Blakeney Point and the Bird Reserves at Titchwell and Cley-next-the-Sea attract ornithologists from around the world to study the vast array of birds.
