GOLFING SUCCESS FOR BEDFORDS
Bedfords Estate Agents were proud to enter a team of four
golfers in the recent Thorpeness Charity Golf Day, with all
proceeds raised going to the RNLI. A great time was had by all
competitors on the glorious sunny day, with a substantial sum
raised for this worthy cause.
The Bedfords team included Sarah Carrington-Smith (Burnham Market
office), Ian Kitson (Bedfords Professional), Oliver Holloway and
David Cockburn.
The Bedfords team were in fine form, nobody more so than Sarah,
who’s straight driving and nerveless putting typified the
team’s fine golfing display. Bedfords posted a wonderful
total of 92 points which gave them victory in the overall team
event. The second placed team included a ‘Bedfords family
relative’ in the form of Liz Piercy (Liz’s son, Matt,
works in the Bedfords Aldeburgh office), whose team were using
Bedfords branded golf balls on the day! Ian Kitson won the longest
drive on the 18th hole.
The team were joined by Paul Bedford (Bury St Edmunds office) and
Michael Bedford (Aldeburgh office) for the lunch and charity
auction that followed the golf, with both Paul and Michael winning
items.
