Local estate agents and property marketing specialists, Bedfords,
have recently underlined their expertise by winning two prestigious
awards from Mayfair Office, the leading national network of
independent estate agents and chartered surveyors. The two awards,
one for the high volume of PR Bedfords achieved for their clients
in the national press over the past year, and the other for the
large amount of national newspaper and magazine advertising the
company has taken, reflect the importance of national property
editorial and print advertising in the media today. “We are
really thrilled to receive these two awards,” commented David
Bedford. “We understand the value of national editorial and
advertising. Both play a critical part in the marketing mix. The
important thing is that this editorial in newspapers such as The
Times, Sunday Times, Daily Telegraph and Financial Times, and
magazines such as Country Life, is not just for large houses. We
have been able to gain great free publicity for smaller houses and
cottages too. “Many estate agents now seem to be reliant on
the internet for enquiries. But important as the internet is, we
know that millions of people read the national press and are
influenced by it. Reading about a new property fresh to the market
in a major quality newspaper does have a huge impact and I
don’t think that will change,” he added.
“National editorial and advertising are both extremely
potent. That is why our local offices in Bury St Edmunds, Burnham
Market and Aldeburgh all work closely with our marketing office in
London to keep our clients’ properties in the public
eye.”
