OLYMPIC TORCHES ARRIVES IN ALDEBURGH
On Thursday 5th July, Aldeburgh enjoyed the arrival of the
Olympic Torch. We were blessed with beautiful sunshine as the
crowds gathered along the High Street and sea front. Hundreds of
school children lined the streets waving their Union Jack flags,
blow up Olympic torches and whistles. At 2:15 the torch passed our
Aldeburgh office and then made its way to Wickham Market,
Woodbridge before ending the day in
Ipswich.
