One of the most sought-after market towns in East Suffolk, whose variety of fascinating historic architecture includes numerous buildings from the Tudor, Elizabethan, Georgian and Victorian eras. Standing on the River Deben, about 8 miles inland from The Suffolk Heritage Coast, the town has about 1100 years of recorded history and provides an array of amenities including a yacht marina, independent stores, supermarkets, cinema and a wide choice of restaurants, pubs and bars, together with a broad range of professional services and excellent transport links.
The office here has evolved through the Covid lockdown to facilitate the East Suffolk area primarily providing administrative support for the Aldeburgh office where all sales in the east Suffolk area are managed. The Aldeburgh office covers a wide geographical area stretching along the Suffolk Heritage Coast from The Shotley Peninsula to Southwold, taking in hotspots like Woodbridge, Orford, Aldeburgh and Walberswick. We then sweep inland to the west, as far as the A140, where we meet with our Bury St Edmunds office; selling country houses, barn conversions and cottages in the pretty villages that surround our county town and other attractive market towns dotted amongst our county's largely unspoilt, undulating open countryside under our renowned big skies.
